On November 9, 2023, the State Alcohol Inspectorate of the Republic of Tatarstan held a consumer tasting of semi-hard cheeses, the most popular varieties among the population: "Dutch" and "Russian". The purpose of the consumer tasting is to assess the quality and safety of purchased cheese samples, identify the best producer from them and bring information about the results to consumers.

The cheeses were evaluated in accordance with the requirements of regulatory documentation for taste and smell, appearance, consistency, color and pattern.

In total, more than 40 types of cheese sold on the territory of the republic participated in the quality assessment. As the research results have shown, most of the products on the Tatarstan market are of good quality and safe. It is especially pleasant that the Dutch cheese of our production took the first place in terms of the total points!
